How It Began
In 2018, Joyce Shulman and Eric Cohen brought the best talent in technology, marketing and community-building together to accomplish an ambitious goal: bring the mental and physical benefits of walking for wellness to millions. The result was 99 Walks, a social fitness app that has inspired more than 100,000 people to walk their way to better.
Turns out, they were just getting started.
"The idea for Jetti Poles struck us after thousands of members asked us a way to take walking to the next level," Eric explains. "We made it our mission to bring immersive and scalable walking workouts into people's lives in the most accessible, affordable and efficient way."
After more than two years of research and development, Jetti Poles, launched in December of 2021.
"We knew we had created something special," says Joyce. "But it wasn't until we actually got them in the people's hands that we realized we were on a path to empower a walking revolution."
